David is the grandson of some very dear friends of mine. His death brought Afghanistan closer to home. Since then, three members of my family have served tours of duty there and all gratefully returned home safely.
I think what you are doing is incredibly generous and loving. I am sure the families appreciate the gift of your compassion and recognition of their loss.
